About MaZi 

MaZi is the Lantern Club's restaurant, which has a Mediterranean-inspired, modern Australian menu featuring delicious combinations of the freshest seasonal ingredients, balanced flavours and taste. To top it all off we have an authentic Italian woodfire oven, that is out of this world! 


About You

Being an apprentice is all about learning, so most importantly we’re looking for a great attitude, a "can do" approach and a keen interest in food. Whether you are looking to boost your cooking career and want to start as a 1st year in Commercial Cookery OR you are a 2nd year apprentice looking to expand your skills and join a new environment, we want to hear from you. 

We want you to be a passionate and food focused apprentice ready to learn and build their career with Lantern Club. As we are a small, high performing team you will need to be able to work cohesively and be a team player.  We are also looking for candidates who are keen on learning how to make pizzas, who will train with our chefs on woodfire pizza making. 


What is most important is that you bring a passion for great food and great entertainment, and genuinely care about our customers as much as we do.


You must also be keen to work the hours required for a hospitality venue and bring your energy and enthusiasm each and every shift.


The Role 

This role involves working shifts weekdays and weekends.

All candidates are required to be fully available during the operational hours of the restaurant.The successful applicant will be required to attend TAFE one day per week studying certificate III Commercial Cookery.

Further training and development opportunities will be available to assist progression of the successful applicant's professional career.
